HERE IS WHAT SOME OF OUR CLIENTS SAY:
The Warning Signs
If you’ve been working harder, faster, longer — and the changes just keep coming.
If your to-do list is growing faster than you can tick things off.
If your inbox is flooded with change announcements that feel meaningless.
If everyone is saying yes in meetings — but no one has the energy to follow through.
If you’re struggling to picture what successful change looks like anymore.
If you’re worrying you may not be good enough to keep up with the changes that are coming.
If you’ve tried all the things — and saying “I’ve got this” is becoming harder than it used to be. And you’re feeling increasingly wired-and-tired at the end of each day.
Then the real problem isn’t you, your leaders, or even your teammates.
It’s that the changes we’re experiencing can no longer be outrun.
Here’s the thing: the change tools most of us have been given weren’t built for the supercycle of change we now find ourselves in. They were built for one shift at a time — with the chance to catch your breath and reset in between.
But the world of change has now shifted. And our tools need to catch up.
The Missing Piece Of Your Current Tools
Here’s what most of us have never been taught…
When uncertainty feels overwhelming, our instinct is to do more. To control it. To fix it. To smooth it over. To talk more about it. After all, that’s what’s worked in the past.
But complex changes – the kind that are layered, dynamic, and relentless – can’t be outrun by doing more. The harder we push, the more chaos we tend to create around us.
This is how change fatigue sets in. Not because we’re not doing enough, but because we don’t feel safe enough to slow down and connect in meaningful ways with what is actually unfolding.
It’s not a motivation problem. It’s not a communication problem. It’s not an accountability problem. It’s a connection challenge.
The kind of connection where we can ask ourselves – and each other – why this change matters, what success looks like, what strengths we can draw on, who can help make it easier, what tiny steps forward we can keep taking as we sense, learn and adapt together.
The kind of connection that helps our brains feel ‘safe enough’ to navigate uncertainty.
And here’s the good news: when we stop pretending and start asking each other the kind of extraordinary questions sparked by curiosity, compassion, and care — then connection can be found in any changes (even the ones we’re not thrilled about). And this is how we finally learn to trust ourselves and each other to learn and grow together through the supercycle of change — without burning out in the process.
You need tools to create better connections. We’ve got them.

What You’ll Learn
Change fatigue impacts all of us at times. Learn to tame yours first — then share the tools. With your team. Your organization. Your clients. Your family and friends. For minimizing psychosocial risks. For making it easier to navigate change together. For the moments when people are struggling and need to find practical ways to trust themselves and each other.
If you’re using our HEART of Change tools, this is the deeper dive into Engage Purposefully you’ve been asking for.
Join us for 3 x 60-minute live online sessions — part science, part play, all practical (we promise no one has to role-play). You’ll leave with ready-to-use extraordinary questions, change conversation maps, and tools for sensing, learning, and adapting with guided audio. The kind you’ll actually use — and want to share.
Workshop 1: Decode Your Brain’s Change Fatigue Signals
Learn why change fatigue can’t be outrun by working harder or faster — and why it’s a systems challenge, not a personal failing. You’ll decode your brain’s approach to navigating change — Fixer, Controller, Pleaser, Resister or Adaptor — and the team and organizational dynamics that compound these patterns into fatigue. By the end of the week, you’ll understand why change has felt this way — and how to ask the extraordinary questions to make it safe enough to navigate with confidence.
As one leader reflected: “This workshop had me thinking differently about the emotional and social reasons why our current approach to change is exhausting.”
Take-home tools:
Extraordinary Questions Generator (PDF guide and AI tool prompts)
Workshop 2: Discover The Questions That Create Better Connections
Most of us exhaust ourselves trying to control change — when all we can own is how we respond, what we learn, and who we become as we navigate changes together. You’ll experiment with the five extraordinary questions that help individuals, teams, and organisations engage purposefully with any change — unlocking the human connections that make it more personally and collectively meaningful. By the end of the week, you’ll have five HEART-based questions and conversation maps for common change challenges that can turn any feelings of overwhelm into action.
As one participant told us: “These questions gave me the confidence to face into what was ahead instead of just bracing for it.”

Workshop 3: Develop The Confidence
To Sense, Learn & Adapt
Learn to slow down when complex changes are unfolding — even when bracing, pushing, or saying “I’ve got this” feels safer. You’ll reach for the stillness to sense what’s shifting, the curiosity to understand what is and isn’t working, and the courage to adapt your approach for yourself and with the people around you — even when you can’t see yet where things are heading. By the end of the week you’ll have the skills to keep change fatigue from taking hold for yourself and others — even when the changes keep coming.
One council knew this — and trained more than 200 people, from the recycling depot to head office, on how to build these skills together.
Take-home tools:
3 x Sense, Learn & Adapt Playsheets + Guided Audio Recordings
Bonus 4 Weeks After Class: Group Coaching Call (60 Minutes)
Reconnect to embed what you’ve learned into your real life. You’ll troubleshoot what’s not working, share what is, and refine your practice for the challenges that matter most to you. By the end of the session, you’ll have what you need to continue taming complex changes without fatiguing — long after the program ends.
Take-home tool: Self-Coaching Guide

Who is this mini-masterclass designed for?
This masterclass is perfect for HR leaders who need practical tools to address the psychosocial risk of ‘poor change management’ and burnout while supporting sustained performance, change champions who want neurologically-informed frameworks to coach leaders and teams, wellbeing champions who need evidence-based micro-practices to build psychological safety and support wellbeing, and practitioners who want ready-to-use, co-brandable resources to help clients navigate complex changes successfully.
It is also designed for leaders, team members, and the rest of us who want to understand how to feel safe enough as we navigate the supercycle of change we are in.
I don’t have a background in neuroscience or change management. Can I still take this mini-masterclass?
Absolutely. We’ll cover the neuroscience insights you need in an accessible way, so you have exactly what you need. No prior experience required.
I’ve completed The Change Lab’s Certificate in Creating Positive Change, Leading The Heart Of Change Certificate, or The Nervous System Advantage Mini-Masterclass in the past – will this be different?
Yes. While this builds on the skills you learned in the previous classes, it takes a deep dive into the skills of connection and engaging purposefully in a way we have never taught publicly before. These are the foundation skills that enable us to self organize around changes.
I’ve completed your Certificate in Creating Wellbeing and/or Certificate in Leading Psychosocial Safety & Care – will this be different?
Yes. While this builds on the science, frameworks and tools you learned, most of the content will be completely new and complementary to what you’ve gained in our other certificates. This is the first time we’ve ever taught the Engage Purposefully tools, and many of the evidence-based change nudges and communication tools are also completely new.
If you’re using our HEART of Change tools, this is the deeper dive into Engage Purposefully you’ve been asking for.
