Are you passionate about helping people, teams, or entire organizations, schools, and communities to create positive changes?

Do you wish you had a network of positive change leaders you could learn from, grow with, and be supported by, as you work to make change happen?

Perhaps you’ve:

  • Struggled to win the buy-in of your stakeholders or win over your cynics, even when you’ve done everything right.
  • Found that helping people to create truly meaningful change is challenging, even when you have a whole toolkit of positive psychology tools to draw upon.
  • Discovered that gaining commitment, rather than just compliance for change, is difficult, even when you’ve been using the best organizational development or change management tools.
  • Uncovered that complex, adaptive systems like people, teams, and organizations are messy and dynamic, no matter how much leaders try to control or manage them.
  • Learned about Appreciative Inquiry and realized you need more training to confidently leverage this powerful change approach, particularly on the neuroscience of Appreciative Inquiry.
  • Realized that it’s lonely leading change without a network of like-minded and heart-centered change agents, even when things aren’t going too badly.

Here’s the good news: after many, many requests to teach people both the theory and practice of creating positive changes that enables people, teams, and systems to thrive, we’ve done it.

It’s called the Certificate In Creating Positive Change.

Imagine if you could:

  • Win over your stakeholders and cynics without ever needing to defend your positive change plans.
  • Confidently navigate the dance between order and chaos that are an inherent part of any change process – and teach others to do the same.
  • Have the latest evidence-based insights and tools from neuroscience, positive psychology, organizational dynamics, and systems design at your fingertips to help people thrive, through even the most challenging change processes.
  • Design and deliver Appreciative Inquiry coaching, workshop or AI Summit experiences to enable positive change, whilst surreptitiously building peoples’ positive change skills.
  • Consistently create positive, human-centered changes for complex, adaptive, and interconnected systems, be it for one person, or an entire workplace.
  • Transform organizational cultures into the healthy and vibrant places you visualize them being.
  • Be supported by a global network of positive change agents who are willing to help answer your questions, provide inspiration, and offer encouragement.

The Certificate In Creating Positive Change is a live, online training program for people just like you who want effective, evidence-based, systems-oriented approaches for creating positive changes, be it through coaching, workshops, AI Summits, or change management strategies.

Starting on October 2nd, 2019, running for 12 weeks, with a 90 minute live, online class every week, you’ll get all the learning, tools, and support you need from our world-leading positive change team.

You can join us from anywhere in the world. And if you can’t be with us live, don’t worry, all the classes are recorded, and we have an online member community where you can ask questions and seek help at any time.

Can We Walk Our Talk?

Committed, playful activators of positive change, we’ve traveled the world to learn from the masters, and then taken everything we’ve discovered to:

  • Travel the world helping a global professional services firm live its brand values across 60 different countries.
  • Move to Cleveland to be part of a ten-year AI Summit commitment to help the community build a green city on a blue lake.
  • Work with cities to facilitate inter-organizational expansion and collective action around some difficult social challenges
  • Wake up in Kyrgyzstan to help 100 business leaders from around the globe find more collaborative ways to work together.
  • Fuse design thinking and Appreciative Inquiry for senior leaders in a highly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) environments to help them lead positive changes, without burning people out.
  • Invite hundreds of female leaders in wineries around the world, from head office through to the vineyards, to design and help implement new inclusion initiatives.
  • Gain the buy-in of hundreds of leaders in the construction industry to embrace new ways of working together and teach them to be leaders of positive change.
  • Unite fiercely competitive schools to create Australia’s Positive Education Schools Association (PESA).
  • Fire up 22 schools and local community organizations in the Upper Hunter region in Australia to improve the wellbeing and resilience of local kids.
  • Accelerate and embed positive education approaches in schools around Australia with our one-day AI Summits.
  • Create a safe space for 11-year-old students to design the flourishing school community they want with their parents, teachers, and community members (and a school pet shark!).
  • Help design the creation of Melbourne University’s Center for Positive Psychology.
  • Teach the skills of positive change to hundreds of students completing the Masters of Applied Positive Psychology, or other similar programs, around the world.
  • Train, mentor, and certify thousands of positive psychology practitioners working in diverse and complex domains.

Be it creating positive changes across an entire system, one-on-one in coaching conversations, or anything in between, we are paid to teach and apply these skills every day in workplaces, schools, and communities around the world.

We also use them to build and grow our own business and to help us thrive professionally and personally as we navigate the messy and magical possibilities for chaos and order each day.

Here’s How The Certificate Works:

Each week you’ll attend a live 90 minutes class − We know this is a time commitment but there are so many great things we can give you to help you create more positive change in the world. The first 60 minutes are for teaching and the last 30 minutes for jamming on your questions and real-time challenges – so if you can only make an hour a week, you can drop off.

All classes are recorded – If you want to go back at your own pace, or you can’t make it to the live class one week, then you’ll have the recording, which is yours to keep.

Cheat sheets and challenges are provided – To help you transfer your learning into the real world, we’ll provide a cheat sheet summarizing the key content and a practical positive change challenge, so you can immediately apply what you’re learning.

Accountability is strongly encouraged – We know creating change can be hard – even when its positive change – so we’ll be checking in at the start of each call on your experience with your positive change challenge to help you maximize the value of this program.

A Positive Change Toolbox is built – Throughout the training, we’ll be giving you: a range of tools to help you craft generative topics, ask appreciative questions, hold strengths-focused coaching conversations, and design appreciative inquiry workshops and summits, to name just a few. These are yours to steal-with-pride and use to create more positive change in the world.

Support is ongoing – You will have access to a Slack chat channel to ask questions, share inspiration, and seek support throughout the training program. You can contact us and each other at any time through this medium, and no question is silly.

A certificate is awarded – Attend the classes and complete the challenges and we’ll provide you with a certificate for participation at the end of the program.

The live classes will run from the 2nd of October on the same day every week. As a rough guide check the table below, but please check here for your local time – use Thursdays Melbourne, Australia at 7.30am to compare to avoid daylight saving challenges.
